About Lesson Adventures
Our mission at Lesson Adventures is to provide an elevated and differentiated music lessons experience for students of all ages. We do that by working with the best teachers, like voice coach Jodi Howe and piano teacher Jen Saad, who have a shared love of music and aspire to pass that on to others so they too may enjoy a lifetime of musical enjoyment.

We strive to create an environment where learning and practicing are seen as choices rather than chores, empowering students to consistently sharpen their skills week after week. Celebrating their small victories is essential for helping students persevere through moments of frustration. Ultimately, our aim is for students to develop the lifelong ability to play music confidently and to express their creativity.
We want our music students to eagerly anticipate their lessons and feel motivated to practice daily. Our shared love for music serves as a source of inspiration, highlighting the significance of having a solid foundation in music theory, sight reading, and improvisation, which we believe will deepen their appreciation for music over time.

Every Lesson Adventures instructor is a working musician — someone who performs, records, and lives the craft they teach. But professional musicianship alone doesn’t get anyone into our network. Every instructor completes a rigorous application, a video performance audition, an in-person interview, a comprehensive background check, and an ongoing member rating review.
We don’t match students randomly. We pair each family with an instructor based on personality, teaching style, genre background, and scheduling fit. If it ever isn’t working, we rematch you — no questions, no awkwardness.
